As a working student in Data Analytics at 1KOMMA5°, you will support the Controlling and Business Intelligence teams in building a central data architecture that ingests, transforms, and analyzes data from our global operational and financial business. You will help generate actionable insights for financial planning, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making processes across the entire company.
THE MOST IMPORTANT TASKS INCLUDE: *
- Building and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines to ensure the availability of operational and financial data *
- Supporting the Controlling team with automated reports, forecast datasets, and KPI tracking *
- Independently developing analyses, dashboards, and reports in Looker to monitor financial and operational performance *
- Contributing to ensuring data integrity and reliability in financial datasets *
- Assisting with the automation and optimization of reporting processes for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses *
- Investigating and utilizing AI-powered data analysis to improve forecasts, anomaly detection, and business insights
YOUR PROFILE *
- You are enrolled for at least two more semesters at a German university in a degree program for Data Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field with a data analytics focus, and can support us for 15–20 hours per week. *
- You are comfortable working with SQL and Python, ideally also with Git. *
- You have initial experience working with large datasets (e.g., data ingestion, transformation, or data modeling). *
- You are strong in communication and enjoy working with team members and various stakeholders. *
- You have a proactive work approach and enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. *
- You have excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken (C-level).
- Ideally, you have already worked with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, or Tableau). *
- Initial experience with AI or Machine Learning (e.g., predictive modeling, forecasting, or the use of AI libraries or tools) is a big plus. *
- Interest in finance, controlling, or business performance analysis is advantageous. *
