As a Machine Learning Engineer (Data Scientist), you will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working with cutting-edge technologies to develop applications based on Large Language Models (LLMs), collaborating directly with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams.

The Global Generative AI team at AB InBev is responsible for developing innovative solutions that use Artificial Intelligence to transform corporate data into strategic insights. Our goal is to create scalable products that support decision-making and drive digital transformation across different business areas.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and deploy Generative AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Build solutions based on Azure OpenAI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
- Develop APIs and services using Python, FastAPI, and Celery.
- Integrate frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Ollama, and OpenAI Python SDK into solutions.
- Implement and optimize Machine Learning models for Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Ensure the scalability, availability, and performance of applications in the production environment.
- Implement monitoring and observability tools for AI models.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to continuously evolve developed solutions.
- Stay updated on trends and new technologies related to Generative Artificial Intelligence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in developing and deploying Machine Learning applications in production.
- Solid knowledge of Python.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI and applications based on Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, Ollama, OpenAI Python SDK, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI.
- Knowledge of vector databases, such as Redis.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with observability tools and MLOps, such as MLflow, LangSmith, Langfuse, or Weights & Biases.
- Advanced English for communication with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience in Cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience in developing scalable AI platforms.
- Previous work on projects involving Artificial Intelligence applied to business.
