The opportunity
Accenture is seeking a Consultant to work on strategic projects in the Financial Services sector, focusing on credit, financial products, credit risk, policies, digital transformation, data, and artificial intelligence.
In this role, you will support high-impact initiatives, contributing to analyses, diagnostics, recommendations, and the creation of executive materials for clients in the financial ecosystem.
We are looking for a profile with analytical and business acumen, experience in the financial sector, and the ability to connect strategy, technology, and data to support practical, results-oriented recommendations.
What you will do day-to-day
- Participate in consulting and transformation projects, supporting analyses, diagnostics, and recommendations for clients in the financial sector.
- Transform data, indicators, benchmarks, and market information into business insights.
- Develop recommendations for credit strategy, origination, collection, portfolio management, pricing, operational efficiency, customer experience, and financial product evolution.
- Support the design, review, and implementation of credit policies, eligibility criteria, risk appetite, limits, authorities, decision models, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Consider trends such as Open Finance, PIX, digital credit, BNPL, advanced analytics, and the use of AI in financial services.
- Coordinate workstreams, organize activities, track deadlines, and ensure the quality of produced materials.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in business, technology, data, analytics, product, risk, and operations.
- Mentor junior analysts and consultants, contributing to the technical consistency of deliverables.
- Support commercial proposals, RFPs, market studies, and the development of Accenture assets.
Minimum requirements
What we are looking for in the person joining the team
- Experience in consulting, business transformation, or areas within financial institutions.
- Analytical skills to structure problems, interpret data, develop hypotheses, and build clear recommendations.
- Knowledge of the credit lifecycle, including origination, analysis, approval, credit policies, limit management, portfolio management, collection, recovery, and performance and risk indicators.
- Business understanding of financial products, digital journeys, customer experience, operational efficiency, and credit risk.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for preparing executive presentations and interacting with stakeholders.
- Fluency in interfacing between business, technology, and data.
- Experience in managing activities, organizing deliverables, and working on projects with multiple workstreams.
- Advanced English for participating in meetings, preparing materials, and interacting in global contexts.
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering, Law, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Technology, or related fields.
Additionally, knowledge is desirable:
- Experience in credit transformation, platform modernization, implementation of analytical models, credit scoring, decision engines, journey automation, or AI applied to credit and financial products.
- Knowledge of financial regulation, operational risk, compliance, fraud prevention, and data governance.
- Track record in business development, account expansion, building commercial proposals, and relationship management with financial sector executives.
