The Opportunity
Accenture is seeking a Consulting Manager to work on strategic projects in the Financial Services sector, focusing on fraud and financial crime prevention, risk, compliance, digital transformation, data, and artificial intelligence.
In this role, you will lead high-impact initiatives, supporting clients in evolving their operational models, digital journeys, governance, analytical capabilities, and business outcomes.
We are looking for an executive profile with a solid business vision, experience in the financial sector, and the ability to connect strategy, technology, and data to generate measurable results.
What you'll do day-to-day
- Lead strategic and transformation consulting projects, ensuring excellence in delivery, scope management, and client executive relationship management.
- Develop diagnostics, recommendations, and action plans for critical business, risk, operational, data, and technology issues.
- Develop recommendations for anti-fraud strategy, AML, KYC, KYB, sanctions, transaction monitoring, investigation, dispute resolution, recovery, risk governance, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
- Support the design, review, and implementation of policies, control frameworks, operational models, investigation workflows, prioritization criteria, decision rules, and prevention, detection, response, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Consider trends such as Open Finance, PIX, digital identity, biometrics, generative AI, advanced analytics, and investigation automation.
- Connect business vision, technology, data, and artificial intelligence to support strategic decisions and accelerate value generation.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, guiding consultants and analysts in structuring analyses and executive narratives.
- Coordinate timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery quality, proactively resolving deviations.
- Support proposals, RFPs, account expansion, and strategic client relationship management.
- Contribute to Accenture's methodologies, assets, and approaches.
Minimum requirements
What we're looking for in the person joining the team
- Solid experience in consulting, business transformation, or leadership positions in financial institutions.
- Ability to lead executive conversations, structure complex problems, and clearly communicate recommendations.
- Knowledge of fraud prevention, detection, and response processes and capabilities, including onboarding, authentication, transaction monitoring, behavioral analysis, investigation, dispute resolution, recovery, and performance and risk indicators.
- Knowledge of financial crimes, including AML/CFT, sanctions, due diligence, customer onboarding, KYC, KYB, regulatory monitoring, suspicious activity reporting, and compliance governance.
- Fluency in the interface between business, technology, data, risk, compliance, and operations.
- Experience in managing complex projects, multiple workstreams, and high-performance teams.
- Business acumen regarding operational efficiency, customer experience, digital transformation, and the use of AI in financial services.
- Advanced English for meetings, executive presentations, and global interactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Law, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Technology, or related fields. Postgraduate studies or an MBA will be considered a plus.
Additionally, knowledge is desirable
- Experience in anti-fraud transformation, AML/CFT, platform modernization, analytical models, machine learning, decision engines, transactional rules, biometrics, digital identity, case management, alert management, or investigation automation.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, AML/CFT standards, Central Bank, CVM, SUSEP, COAF, LGPD, data governance, and risk frameworks.
