The Opportunity
Accenture is seeking a Consultant to work on strategic projects in the Financial Services sector, focusing on NPL collections intelligence, non-performing loan portfolio management, credit recovery, data, analytics, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence.
In this role, you will support high-impact initiatives, contributing to analyses, diagnostics, recommendations, and the creation of executive materials for clients in the financial ecosystem.
We are looking for a candidate with an analytical and business mindset, experience in the financial sector, and the ability to connect strategy, technology, and data to support practical, results-oriented recommendations.
What you'll do in your day-to-day
- Engage in consulting and transformation projects, supporting analyses, diagnostics, and recommendations for clients in the financial sector.
- Transform data, indicators, benchmarks, and market information into business insights.
- Develop recommendations for collections strategy, portfolio segmentation, trigger campaigns, renegotiation, recovery, digital channels, partner management, operational efficiency, and NPL governance.
- Support collections intelligence models, including prioritization, strategies by delinquency band, discount policies, payment propensity, next best action, and performance monitoring.
- Track indicators such as delinquency, aging, roll rate, cure rate, recovery rate, net recovery, cost per recovery, channel efficiency, contact rate, promise to pay, and broken promises.
- Coordinate workstreams, organize activities, track deadlines, and ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in business, technology, data, analytics, product, risk, and operations.
- Mentor junior analysts and consultants, contributing to the technical consistency of deliverables.
- Support commercial proposals, RFPs, market studies, and the development of Accenture assets.
What we're looking for in the person joining the team
- Experience in consulting, business transformation, or areas within financial institutions.
- Analytical skills to structure problems, interpret data, develop hypotheses, and build clear recommendations.
- Knowledge of the collections and recovery cycle, including early delinquency, collections strategy, segmentation, renegotiation, settlements, friendly collections, legal collections, recovery, provisioning, and loss management.
- Business acumen regarding collections operations, customer experience, digital channels, operational efficiency, partner management, non-performing loan portfolio governance, and the use of AI in credit recovery.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for preparing executive presentations and interacting with stakeholders.
- Fluency in interfacing between business, technology, and data.
- Experience in managing activities, organizing deliverables, and working on projects with multiple workstreams.
- Advanced English for participation in meetings, material preparation, and interaction in global contexts.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Law, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Technology, or related fields.
Additionally, knowledge is desirable
- Experience in collections transformation, platform modernization, renegotiation policy review, decision engines, payment propensity models, next best action, journey automation, or AI applied to credit recovery.
- Knowledge of portfolio assignment, legal collections, credit bureaus, financial regulation, LGPD, data governance, risk models, and vendor management.
- Track record of business development, account expansion, commercial proposal building, and relationship management with financial sector executives.
