As a Technical Cloud Compliance Engineer, you will be part of a specialized team that combines technical excellence in operations with a high standard of stability, compliance, and business continuity. - Operational Responsibility: Responsibility for the stable, secure, and traceable operation of modern cloud and container platforms
- SRE Development: Further development of monitoring, alerting, incident handling, automation, and technical operating processes in the spirit of modern Site Reliability Engineering
- Regulations & Standards: Implementation and sustainable anchoring of requirements from C5, BSI Basic Protection, KRITIS, § 393 Health, B3S, as well as BaFin-related specifications
- Controls & Compliance: Ownership for technical and operational controls, as well as ensuring that defined requirements are effectively implemented, documented, and maintained
- Business Continuity & Resilience: Contribution to business continuity and resilience topics, for example, restart, emergency preparedness, robust operating standards, and auditability
- Security Optimization: Identification and implementation of technical improvements in security and operations, for example, through vulnerability management, hardening measures, or the development of a CVE dashboard
YOUR PROFILE
- Education & Experience: Computer science degree, successfully completed training in the IT field, or comparable professional experience in technical operations, in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
- Operational Experience: Sound experience in operating Linux-based systems, cloud environments, and container platforms such as Kubernetes or Docker
- Operational Understanding: Very good understanding of availability, resilience, observability, security, and robust operating processes
- Automation & IaC: Practical experience in automation and Infrastructure as Code, for example with Terraform, Ansible, Git, or comparable tools
- Processes & Compliance: Interest in processes and compliance, and ideally initial experience with regulatory or normative requirements such as C5, BSI Basic Protection, KRITIS, B3S, or BaFin specifications
- Implementation Strength: Ability to not only evaluate technical requirements but also to implement them practically and anchor them permanently and effectively
- Soft Skills: Very good communication skills, clear ownership, customer-oriented action, and enjoyment of collaboration with different stakeholders
- Language Skills: Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
