Ayunis is a GovTech company based in Munich. More than 900 cities, municipalities, and districts in the DACH region work with our software.

With Locaboo, we develop software for the operation of municipal sports and cultural facilities—so that they can be easily booked, managed, and billed online.

Your Role

The technical direction of a product that is in use by several hundred municipalities is up to you

As Technical Product Lead, you will take on technical responsibility for Locaboo. You will develop code yourself, make technology decisions within the product, and manage the development team that built Locaboo. You will work closely with the Locaboo development team and the account management team, and report to the management.

Your Responsibility

The Locaboo application consists of a PHP part and a NestJS/React part. You will take responsibility for both parts and develop them into a coherent platform.

Technical Roadmap for the coming years

Stability, security, and maintainability of a system that is in use by several hundred municipalities

The interfaces to municipal IT, i.e., financial systems, locking systems, lighting control, document management. You will further develop them, keep them stable, and evaluate which new integrations make sense

Further development of the MCP server, through which Locaboo functions become usable for AI assistants

Management of the external development team: prioritization, code reviews, approvals, technical standards

Translating customer requirements from account management into solutions and realistically estimating effort and feasibility

Technical support for customer projects, possibly with direct customer contact, for example, data migrations, integrations, or special configurations, and solving problems that first-level support cannot resolve

Requirements

What you bring

Several years of experience in web application development, a good portion of which in PHP and in JavaScript

You have built and operated interfaces to third-party systems, REST, SOAP, file exchange, hardware is also welcome

You have integrated LLMs into existing software and know how to build and deploy an MCP server. Ideally, you have done it yourself

You have experience in the operation and further development of mature systems

You can justify technical decisions, even to people who cannot read code

You can handle customers, understand requirements, manage expectations, and explain problems

German at a business-fluent level, English good enough for daily work with the external team
