Job Objective: Govern the end-to-end Systems Testing process, ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of technological solutions. Specialized in Cobol technologies, Altamira: CICS, TSO, Control M. Host to Host systems.

Main Responsibilities

Testing Governance and Strategy

Lead the comprehensive systems testing process for assigned requirements.

Define and ensure the correct execution of the functional and non-functional testing strategy.

Validate testing scope, ensuring coverage of critical business scenarios.

Identify quality risks and define timely mitigation plans.

Approve key testing artifacts (strategy, plan, estimates, results).

Management and Coordination

Manage testing resources (internal team and vendors).

Manage and track the testing budget.

Coordinate with Development, PMO, ERN, User, and Business teams.

Communicate progress, risks, and testing results to the corresponding stakeholders.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Systems or related fields.

Experience

5+ years as a Senior Tester / QA Engineer, Testing Lead, or QA Lead.

Experience in systems testing in complex environments.

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external vendors.

Technical Knowledge

Functional and non-functional testing.

Knowledge of Cobol technologies, Altamira: CICS, TSO, Control M, DB2.

Host to Host systems.

Development methodologies: Waterfall / Agile / Scrum / DevOps.

Testing and defect management tools (ALM, Jira, Zephyr, or others).

Key Skills

Leadership and decision-making.

Analytical thinking and risk-focused approach.

Effective communication with technical and business teams.

Results-oriented and continuous improvement.

Governance and tracking capability.

Languages: Intermediate English

Availability: Not applicable for travel or relocation.

Experience in the financial or highly regulated sector is desirable.

Knowledge of AI applied to QA. Desirable.
