As BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH, we provide the capital city with climate-friendly electricity and heat. Our district heating network, spanning more than 2.000 kilometers, is the largest in Western Europe. We supply heat to approximately one-third of Berlin's households.

With the expertise of our well over 2.400 employees, we cover the entire value chain of district heating – from generation and network operation and expansion to sales. We are working at full speed on the coal phase-out by 2030 and on climate-neutral generation starting in 2045. In doing so, we are significantly supporting the State of Berlin in achieving its climate goals.

On this path, we aim to realize a higher share of renewable energies and waste heat. To achieve this, we must redesign many of our sites and facilities. For this challenge and the associated tasks, we need people who are fully committed to our common goal of a local heat transition – people like you.
