The 15 Division of BYD is responsible for manufacturing essential automotive components for the company's vehicles, using highly automated production processes aligned with BYD's global quality standards. Located in the industrial complex of Camaçari/BA, the division plays a strategic role in the company's supply chain, contributing to innovation, operational efficiency, and manufacturing excellence in new energy vehicles.
We are seeking an IT Systems Analyst (OT) to join the IT Department, responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and security of Operational Technology (OT) systems that support the factory's production processes. The professional will be involved in the administration, support, and integration of industrial systems, ensuring efficient communication between equipment, industrial networks, and corporate systems.
The position requires close collaboration with Production, Engineering, Automation, Maintenance, and IT areas, supporting the implementation of new technologies, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of industrial automation processes. We are looking for a professional with an analytical, proactive, and problem-solving oriented profile, capable of working in a highly automated and multicultural industrial environment, contributing to operational reliability and the digital transformation of BYD Auto Brasil's 15 Division.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT terminals in the production environment, ensuring continuous operation.
- Engage in the construction, maintenance, and support of the industrial network, resolving basic connectivity and infrastructure issues.
- Administer, monitor, and provide technical support for industrial and corporate systems, including:
- Manufacturing and Integration Systems (MES, IoT);
- Digital and Planning Platforms (Cloud Platform, APS, OPS);
- Execution and Logistics Systems (PES, WCS);
- Logistics Control and Automation Systems (MCF, RCS).
- Provide user support, including training and guidance on the proper use of IT systems and tools.
- Participate in the implementation, promotion, and support of internal IT projects focused on production and operations, ensuring timely delivery.
- Support the integration between equipment, IoT systems, and digital platforms, ensuring correct data collection and transmission.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments for testing, validation (joint debugging), and continuous system improvements.
- Monitor system performance and propose improvements to increase efficiency, stability, and operational reliability.
- Ensure documentation of processes, configurations, and technical procedures related to IT systems and infrastructure.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Completed higher education in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networks, or related fields.
- Experience in IT operation, maintenance, and support in an industrial, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Experience in at least one of the following areas/systems:
- MES / IoT (manufacturing and data integration)
- Cloud Platform / APS / OPS (production planning and capacity)
- PES / WCS (execution and logistics control)
- MCF / RCS (logistics automation and control/robotics)
- Knowledge of industrial IT infrastructure, including networks, devices, terminals, and shop floor connectivity.
- Experience with system troubleshooting, incident analysis, and user support.
- Ability to work in a team and interact with technical areas, vendors, and global teams.
- Must have Advanced English (reading, writing, and speaking);
- Availability for on-site work in Camaçari/BA.
- Experience with the implementation or support of industrial or corporate systems projects will be a plus.
- Knowledge of system integration, data collection (IoT), and communication with industrial equipment will be considered a differential.
