As a (Senior) Cloud Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will work closely with clients and teams to strategically design and solution-orientedly implement cloud solutions. You will take responsibility for your areas, communicate clearly with various stakeholders, and introduce new technologies from the fields of Cloud, AI, and Automation in a targeted and practical manner into projects. *

- You will design and implement scalable cloud data platforms for analytics, AI, and automation use cases
- You will develop high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines and modern Lakehouse and Data Warehouse architectures with a focus on data quality, governance, and observability
- You will implement and further develop technological solutions based on Azure, AWS, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Spark, and streaming services to realize future-proof platforms
- You will analyze business requirements and translate them into secure, efficient, and AI-capable data architectures
- You will work closely with clients and interdisciplinary teams and actively shape DataOps, CI/CD, and automation approaches
YOUR PROFILE *
- You have experience in developing and operating cloud data platforms (e.g., in Azure, AWS, or Databricks) and are familiar with Lakehouse and Data Warehouse architectures
- You have sound knowledge of Python, SQL, and Spark, and use them to develop high-performance data pipelines, including for analytics and AI use cases
- You have experience in data modeling, data integration, and processing large volumes of data, as well as with DataOps and CI/CD approaches
- Willingness to travel for project-related assignments in Germany, as well as very good German language skills (at least C1) and fluent English, complete your profile
- Relevant cloud and data certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure or Power BI, such as PL-300) and an IT degree or comparable qualification are desirable
