RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE WITH US
- The role of the Data Center Manager / Site Manager (m/f/d) is to technically lead our data center holistically and ensure smooth service delivery and 24/7 operations at the site.
- In doing so, you will assume overall responsibility at the site for all CBRE employees and all services provided by CBRE.
- This also includes full P&L responsibility for an extensive budget (maintenance costs, Opex / Capex, subcontractors, employees, etc.).
- You will assume all entrepreneurial duties in accordance with applicable laws and regulations at the site, including occupational safety, environmental protection, quality management, and all social standards.
- Furthermore, you will act as the primary point of contact for our client (whose data center we manage on their behalf) and support them in continuously developing the site by implementing additional CBRE services.
QUALIFICATIONS
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
To competently perform this responsible role, we are looking for someone (m/f/d) with relevant industry experience in the data center environment as well as functional experience in the operational and strategic maintenance management of a data center.
In addition, you should bring the following experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role with P&L responsibility in the field of "Managed Services" for critical infrastructures.
- Management experience in operational business and in its interdisciplinary execution (people management, corporate culture, growth, QHSE).
- Industry knowledge in data center environments and in one or more of the following areas: Facility Management, Project Management, Building Technology, etc.
- Internal and external customer management with the ability to interact at various levels both internally and externally on the client, service provider, and supplier side.
- Good commercial acumen with a strong understanding of financial KPIs.
- Enthusiasm for fast-paced, high-growth environments with an affinity for matrix organizations.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to create structures and approach problem-solving methodically.
- High level of integrity with the ability to build relationships internally and externally and gain the trust of your counterparts.
- Excellent presentation skills - written, verbal, and presentation.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
