As a Specialist Platform Engineer, your mission will be to technically lead platform architecture decisions, define observability and reliability standards, and serve as a technical reference for multiple client squads and projects. Are you in? Let's go!
We expect you to...
- Define the architecture of container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) at scale, multi-cluster, and/or multi-cloud
- Establish infrastructure as code standards and governance for multiple teams;
- Lead the secret management and infrastructure security strategy;
- Design the end-to-end observability strategy and define SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for critical products;
- Act as a technical reference in high-severity incidents, conducting root cause analyses;
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, elevating the team's technical level;
- Evaluate and propose the adoption of new orchestration/observability technologies and tools;
- Interact directly with clients and stakeholders to align reliability and performance requirements.
We need you to...
- Have advanced and proven experience with Kubernetes in large-scale environments (architecture, scalability, security);
- Have solid experience in software development;
- Possess strong command of automation languages, internal tools, and integrations;
- Have expertise in containers and orchestration strategies;
- Possess advanced experience in infrastructure as code, including reusable modules and IaC governance;
- Have in-depth experience with secret management (architecture, policies, integration with applications);
- Have expertise in observability, with a history of implementing complete monitoring strategies;
- Have expertise in log analysis;
- Possess consolidated command of SLA, SLO, SLI, and reliability culture (SRE);
- Have advanced experience in GitOps, including defining standards for multiple teams;
- Have solid experience in multi-cloud and high-availability architectures;
- Possess command of FinOps, with a history of cost optimization strategies at scale;
- Have advanced experience with the Pkl language for configuration;
- Advanced knowledge in the use of generative AI tools applied to platform engineering;
- Advanced knowledge in DevSecOps, including defining security standards for multiple teams;
- Advanced/fluent English;
- History of technical leadership and mentoring.
