In this role, you will join the Data Engineering team. You will be part of a group of professionals passionate about modern data architecture, responsible for designing, automating, and implementing end-to-end native integration solutions on Cloud architectures.

Your main function will be to lead the development and optimization of highly efficient data pipelines between Snowflake and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for ensuring native orchestration, config-driven processing, data governance (PII), and maximum ecosystem observability, applying engineering best practices.

Why join Coderio?

At Coderio, we value talent regardless of location. We are a remote-first company, passionate about technology, collaborative work, and fair compensation. We offer an inclusive, challenging environment with real growth opportunities.

If you are motivated to build impactful solutions, we are waiting for you. Apply now.

What to expect from this role (Responsibilities)

  1. Build and maintain data pipelines for direct, native end-to-end connection between Snowflake and GCP.
  1. Design and implement orchestration and automation of executions and daily deltas using native warehouse objects (Snowflake Tasks and Streams).
  1. Develop processing logic, config-driven transformations, and PII masking using stored procedures, UDFs, and masking policies via Snowpark.
  1. Implement and ensure native security policies by replacing external secret management, using Storage Integrations connected to buckets via Google IAM roles.
  1. Ensure pipeline observability and reliability by designing monitoring systems, automated alerts, and error handling/retry routines.
  1. Administer and optimize modern data schemas by implementing open-standard storage formats (like Apache Iceberg) directly on the cloud.

Requirements

  1. +5 years of proven experience in Data Engineering roles working with cloud architectures.
  1. Advanced experience in Snowflake and Snowpark: Proficiency in Python for UDF development, Stored Procedures, and application of Masking Policies (Required).
  1. Hands-on experience in native Snowflake orchestration: Expert handling of Snowflake Tasks and Streams for delta loading and process automation (Required).
  1. Experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Solid knowledge of Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and security configuration via Google IAM Roles and integration with Snowflake Storage Integrations (Required).
  1. Experience working with modern open-standard storage formats (e.g., Apache Iceberg).
  1. Experience in implementing observability, alerting, and error handling systems (Snowflake Alerts, TASK_HISTORY).
  1. Strong analytical skills, product-minded approach, autonomy, and ability to work with complex requirements in dynamic environments.

Preferred

  1. Official certifications in Snowflake (e.g., SnowPro Core or SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer) or GCP (e.g., Professional Data Engineer).
  1. Previous experience working on multi-cloud native migration or integration projects.

Benefits

  • Long-term commitment, with autonomy and impact.
  • Strategic and high-visibility role in a modern engineering culture.
  • Collaborative international team and strong technical leadership.
  • Career plan, growth, and leadership within Coderio.
