As an Analytics Architect (w/m/d), you are a key part of the Data Intelligence Center and work in an interdisciplinary team of ten experts. You actively help shape the further development of the Analytics-Frontends, contribute your expertise in concepts, standards, and innovations, and take on responsibility in selected areas. In this way, you contribute to developing modern solutions for Reporting, visualization, and Self-Service-BI and continuously improving our analytics landscape.
Your contribution to the 'WE'
- Further development of the Analytics-Frontend architecture (Cognos Analytics, Jupyter Notebooks, Planning Analytics, Power BI, Fast Edit) and design of integrated solutions where the tools work together seamlessly.
- Evaluation of new technologies and features, testing in Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs), and introduction of new solutions into the analytics strategy.
- Development of standards, governance, and processes for the use of our analytics tools.
- Expansion of self-service BI through training, templates, coaching, and best practices.
- Design of attractive dashboards, reports, and analysis applications that prepare data meaningfully and appropriately for the target audience.
- Collaboration with business analysts (w/m/d), business departments, and IT operations.
What we are looking for
- Completed degree in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification.
- Experience with BI/Analytics-Frontend tools (Cognos Analytics, Planning Analytics, Power BI, Apparo Fast Edit).
- Know-how in DWH architectures and data modeling, as well as good modeling skills in the reporting environment.
- A feel for user-friendly design (IBCS/UX principles) and the ability to present complex data understandably.
- Very good SQL skills, supplemented by the willingness to use Python (for analyses & automations) and JavaScript (for visualization & user interaction) – and to expand them if necessary.
- Analytical thinking, personal responsibility, and enthusiasm for new technologies.
