We value a diverse workforce and an inclusive work environment. Therefore, we welcome all applications – regardless of religion and worldview, nationality and (ethnic or social) origin, gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, age, as well as physical and intellectual abilities.
We review incoming applications solely based on their professional qualifications and the key qualifications required for the respective position. Therefore, we would like to ask you to refrain from including a photo of yourself in your CV and to remove information about your place of residence, age, gender, marital status, or similar.
Please send us your application exclusively via the online portal.
After receiving your application, you will receive an invitation to an initial get-to-know-you session (screening call) with the responsible person from our Talent Acquisition team or a rejection within approximately two to three weeks.
After a successful screening call, two to three interviews with DigitalService employees will follow. First, it is about your professional qualifications, then about values and expectations regarding the team and collaboration. You can get further insights into our recruiting process in our blog post “Recruiting at DigitalService – What applicants can expect digitalservice.bund.de/blog/recruiting-beim-digitalservice-was-bewerbende-erwartet”.
Throughout the entire process, we are available to you at any time for questions, feedback, and exchange.
Do you have questions for us? Your contact person is Corinna Kley (corinna.kley@digitalservice.bund.de).
We are shaping a digital state – together with the administration. As partners on equal footing, we empower the administration on its path to drive its own digitalization. Through our own iterative product development and our commitment to better framework conditions, we create the foundation for digital solutions that are scalable and effective.
As Infrastructure & Internal IT Lead, you take holistic responsibility for building, leading, and further developing our IT landscape, including our cloud platform at STACKIT for digital administrative products. In doing so, you shape a central foundation of our mission: as a strategic enabler, you ensure that our teams can rely on modern, reliable, and scalable technological infrastructure. In this key role, you bring together the threads of our systems and shape the strategic direction of the established and partially new IT Workplace, Platform Engineering, Internal Engineering, and Information Security teams.
