Essential Job Functions
- Participate in technical, engineering, and follow-up meetings for network and telecommunications infrastructure projects.
- Plan and coordinate field activities related to the deployment, expansion, and maintenance of network and connectivity environments.
- Define, validate, and implement technical network infrastructure solutions aligned with client requirements and market best practices.
- Identify, analyze, and act on mitigating risks, impediments, and operational problems related to projects.
- Prepare technical reports and executive summaries for initiative tracking.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Capital Projects, Telecommunications, Connectivity, Hosting, Geotechnology, CMG, and PCM, as well as vendors and partners.
- Monitor and validate activities related to deployment, mobilization, demobilization, automation, facilities, and associated infrastructure.
- Perform configuration, diagnostics, and technical support in Cisco environments, including layer 2 and layer 3 networks.
- Ensure adherence to technical standards, engineering requirements, and governance defined by the client.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network, telecommunications, and IT infrastructure projects.
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco technologies and network protocols, including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, HSRP, and ICMP.
- Experience with configuration, administration, and support of corporate networks.
- Experience in network deployment and engineering projects.
- Ability to identify problems, assess risks, and propose effective technical solutions.
- Skill in collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and complex environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with telecommunications equipment and solutions from manufacturers Radwin, Ubiquiti, Nokia, and Rajant.
- Knowledge of industrial, mining, or remote operations environments.
- Cisco certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of network automation and monitoring tools.
- Experience in coordinating field activities and technical vendor management.
- Availability for travel and on-site work in the Itabira/MG region.
