As a Java Tech Lead, you will work on a nearshore international project for a major global technology client specializing in the financial sector, contributing to the development of critical enterprise applications in a global and AI-first environment.
Your role will be essential to design, develop, and maintain scalable, integrated, and high-performance Java solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and using artificial intelligence as an ally to accelerate software development lifecycle activities.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields;
- Advanced English (C1/C2), with the ability to communicate in an international environment;
- Solid experience as a Java Tech Lead or Senior Java Developer in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Experience with the development of scalable, resilient, and high-performance Java applications;
- Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture;
- Practical experience with cloud, especially AWS;
- Knowledge of distributed systems and enterprise architecture;
- Experience leading distributed or global technical teams;
- Ability to work in dynamic, complex, and high-pressure environments, with resilience and decision-making skills;
DIFFERENTIATORS YOU MAY HAVE
- Experience in financial services, especially Wealth & Asset Management;
- Familiarity with GenAI and prompt engineering;
- Certifications in Java, AWS, Spring Framework, or microservices architecture will be considered differentiators.
- Certifications in Java or related technologies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable and high-performance Java applications.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software architecture, code quality, and security.
- Act with hands-on technical leadership, guiding distributed teams in the implementation of robust solutions.
- Drive the implementation of solutions based on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into efficient technical solutions.
- Perform troubleshooting, performance optimization, and support incident resolution.
- Establish development standards, technical governance, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor team professionals, promoting technical growth, autonomy, and collaboration.
- Support deliveries in high-criticality environments, ensuring quality, resilience, and adherence to deadlines.
- Contribute to the evolution of enterprise architectures in a financial services context.
