IT Operations Support

Impact in this Role

The IT Operations team keeps the technology running for everyone at MISUMI Americas. That covers new network setup (LAN, WAN, VPC, VPN), desktop hardware configuration and rollout, desktop software management, access control, security training, and help desk support. We work closely with our Cloud Infrastructure Operations team so every employee has secure access to the systems they need.

As an IT Operations Support Technician, you’ll report to the IT Operations Technical Lead. You’ll lean on your knowledge of Microsoft Entra, network administration, security event management, and SaaS management to give employees and partners dependable day-to-day support. Your success will be measured by hitting key milestones and by helping us solve complex, company-wide IT initiatives that cut across teams.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit, walk, talk, and hear; use hands to keyboard, fingers, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, crawl, reach, and stretch. Ability to move heavy boxes/equipment from time to time; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Travel

Up to 10% annually within the US for team meetings, offsites, trade shows, and conferences.

Compensation

$65,000 to $75,000 USD, based on experience.
