Your Responsibilities
- Leading complex Data & Analytics projects for our clients within the scope of large forensic and investigation mandates – from conception to successful delivery
- Preparing extensive and complex datasets according to individual project requirements, analyzing them, and creating meaningful reports and visualizations
- Close collaboration with our clients to identify relevant data sources, perform data mining, and design and implement data models for complex questions
- Integration and analysis of finance and accounting data to identify irregularities, track transactions, or quantify financial impacts in forensic investigations and fraud investigations
- Active participation in product and business development, representing our Data & Analytics team internally and externally, and identifying new consulting approaches and innovative services
- Significant contribution to the development of innovative data tools and AI-powered solutions to set new technological standards
- Mentoring and professional and personal development of team members, as well as leading project teams
Your Profile
- Excellent academic qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or another comparable degree program
- Relevant professional experience in Forensic, Fraud, Financial Crime, Audit Analytics, Investigations, or Litigation Support projects, ideally in a consulting, advisory, audit, or corporate environment
- Practical experience in analyzing large financial, transactional, or operational datasets and deriving meaningful insights from complex data structures
- Very good SQL skills, ideally with practical experience in MS SQL Server, including data extraction, data reconciliation, and analytical procedures
- Good understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, journal entries, transaction flows, and relevant business processes
- Ability to combine accounting knowledge with data analytics to address investigation-related questions, identify anomalies, and support sound conclusions
- Structured, detail-oriented, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving, as well as strong analytical judgment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data-based results clearly, concisely, and customer-oriented
- Excellent written and spoken English skills; German language skills are an advantage
- Experience with BI tools, Python, Alteryx, or comparable analytics tools is an advantage, but not a requirement
