ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
JAVA DEVELOPER BACKEND WITH KAFKA
We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to work on the development of microservices in a technically complex environment. The professional will participate in defining the application architecture, building scalable solutions, and evolving critical systems, working together with multidisciplinary teams and agile methodologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot;
- Participate in defining the architecture and designing software solutions;
- Develop high availability and scalability applications;
- Implement automated tests ensuring code quality;
- Act in the continuous evolution of applications and incident resolution;
- Work together with Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Product teams;
- Participate in code reviews and promote good development practices.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Java Backend development;
- Advanced experience with Apache Kafka (minimum of 4 years);
- Microservices Development;
- Spring Boot;
- Functional Programming;
- Java 8 or higher;
- JPA;
- Automated tests (TDD and/or BDD);
- PostgreSQL, Oracle, and/or MongoDB databases;
- Experience with Scrum agile methodology;
- English level B2
- Spanish level B2
DIFFERENTIALS
- Experience with Reactive Programming (Project Reactor, WebFlux, RxJava, or similar);
- Knowledge in OpenAPI Specification 3 (OAS3) for documentation and standardization of APIs.
POSITION CONDITIONS
- Participation in on-call rotation 24x7;
- Rotation schedule approximately every 1 week out of 3 or 4 months, according to the team's calendar.
- 100% remote work;
- Future relocation to Portugal or Spain is mandatory if required due to project, company strategy, or legal requirements;
- While in Brazil, the work will be performed entirely remotely;
- Resumes must be submitted in English.
