About the opportunity
Let's connect: Join our GIT-IO Cloud IO department at our Hannover / Germany location as an IT Cloud Engineer AWS on a permanent basis, starting as soon as possible.
WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO
- You will further develop and maintain our AWS Cloud Platform – from infrastructure to automation with Python, CDK, and Terraform.
- You will actively shape our global AWS Landing Zone and contribute new ideas.
- You will work closely with internal and external DevOps teams to implement innovative cloud concepts.
- You will ensure security and compliance – e.g., with the CIS framework and advise developers on onboarding and new cloud features.
- You will handle requests and incident reports as part of incident, problem, and change management.
- You will act as a Supplier Manager for service providers and vendors.
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
- Degree in Computer Science (or Business Informatics) or a comparable qualification, e.g., as an IT specialist.
- Relevant experience in handling cloud-based AWS infrastructures.
- Understanding of network environments and enjoyment of agile projects (Scrum, Kanban).
- Knowledge of automation and templating.
- Fluent German and English, for communication and support with internal and external customers and colleagues.
- You are eager to learn and curious, quickly grasp complex topics, and enjoy working in a team to develop and advance solutions together.
