Your Responsibilities
The study component at the Cooperative State University in Friedrichshafen will provide you with the theoretical foundation for the practical phases within the company, where you will gain direct insight into the work of an IT engineer. Theory and practice alternate regularly. In the IT Security specialization, programming plays a less significant role compared to classic computer science programs. Instead, considerable emphasis is placed on legal aspects. In addition to pure technical knowledge in core areas of computer science such as programming, digital technology, databases, and software engineering fundamentals, students will engage with current attack scenarios and learn to apply IT security techniques in the design of systems, networks, clouds, and data. In practice, as part of the team, you will take on corresponding project tasks, up to your bachelor's thesis, depending on your academic progress. You will be actively involved in a responsible environment within the company, gaining insights into project work, work processes, and the handling of engineering tasks.
