Your Responsibilities
The study component at the Cooperative State University in Friedrichshafen will provide you with the theoretical foundational knowledge for the practical components within the company, where you will gain direct insight into the work of a computer science engineer. Theory and practice components will alternate regularly.
In the IT Security specialization, programming plays a minor role compared to classic computer science degree programs. Instead, significant emphasis is placed on legal aspects. In addition to pure technical knowledge in core computer science areas such as programming, digital technology, databases, and software engineering fundamentals, students will engage with current attack scenarios and learn to apply IT security techniques in the design of systems, networks, clouds, and data.
In practice, as part of the team, you will take on corresponding project tasks up to your Bachelor's thesis, depending on your academic progress. You will be actively involved in a responsible company environment, gaining insights into project work, work processes, and the handling of engineering tasks.
