ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Analyst to join the Platform Engineering team. Your mission will be to evolve the developer experience (DX), standardize CI/CD pipelines, and sustain our development platform infrastructure.
In this position, you will work end-to-end throughout the software delivery lifecycle—from commit to production—managing pipelines, optimizing the GitLab ecosystem, and maintaining our Developer Portal (Pandora). We are looking for a senior profile in infrastructure/DevOps, but who has experience in development (Node.js) to evolve our internal tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pipelines & CI/CD: Create, maintain, and evolve reusable templates in GitLab CI, optimizing the development lifecycle (CI/CD) and managing the GitLab Runners infrastructure.
- Infrastructure as Code & Cloud: Operate and evolve Kubernetes environments on AWS, using Terraform and Crossplane for declarative provisioning.
- Developer Portal (IDP): Support and evolve our internal developer portal (Pandora), implementing small improvements and integrations in the Node.js (NestJS) stack with occasional support from AI tools to streamline front-end work.
- DevSecOps: Implement Shift Left practices, integrating SAST, container scanning, and security guardrails into automated pipelines.
- Automation & Tooling: Develop support/bootstrapping scripts and tools using Shell Script, Python, and Docker.
- Code Governance: Standardize branch policies, merge strategies, Conventional Commits, and Semantic Versioning in GitLab.
- Support & Dev Success: Support development teams by answering questions and resolving bottlenecks in the use of platforms and pipelines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Solid experience as DevOps, Platform Engineer, or SRE in high-complexity production environments.
- Mastery of AWS cloud and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Deep experience in the GitLab CI/CD ecosystem (reusable templates, runner architecture, pipeline as code).
- Solid experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform (a plus if you know Crossplane).
- Hands-on experience with automation and scripting languages (Shell Script, Python).
- Knowledge in backend development with Node.js / TypeScript for internal tool maintenance.
- Mastery of DevSecOps concepts (SAST, static analysis, container security) and code versioning (Git, GitFlow, Conventional Commits).
- Behavioral profile: High autonomy, proactivity in solving problems end-to-end without the need for micromanagement, and good interpersonal communication.
DIFFERENTIALS
- Experience developing internal tools for engineering platforms.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of React.
