YOUR TASKS
- Building, operating, and further developing modern private cloud and infrastructure platforms
- Modernizing data center and virtualization landscapes in complex enterprise environments
- Analyzing existing infrastructure setups and contributing to target architectures and operating models
- Collaborating with architecture, platform, and engineering teams, and actively exchanging with stakeholders
- Participating in automation and standardization topics (e.g., provisioning, scaling, operating concepts)
- Learning and deepening knowledge in OpenStack as a central platform technology (training & knowledge building in a project environment)
WHAT YOU BRING
- At least 2 years of experience in infrastructure or platform operations (e.g., data center, virtualization, cloud infrastructure)
- Very good technical understanding in at least two of the following areas: Linux, network, virtualization, storage
- Architectural understanding or interest in software/platform architecture (e.g., components, dependencies, scaling, design principles)
- Motivation to help shape modern private cloud platforms and build OpenStack as the next professional step
- Structured way of working, hands-on mentality, and a confident demeanor in the project environment
- Very good German skills (min. C1) and good English skills
- Willingness to travel for project-related reasons
- Experience with VMware (vSphere / ESXi) or comparable environments is highly welcome
