About the role and mission
You will be part of the Tech & Cyber Risks team, a department within the Operational Risk and Internal Controls Superintendence, acting strategically on various fronts and areas in identifying cyber and technological risks, supporting risk mitigation through the implementation of action plans, process and governance improvement, operational loss reduction, regulatory compliance adaptation, and operational efficiency enhancement.
In your day-to-day, you will:
- Support process and control understanding meetings with the evaluated areas;
- Assist in mapping and documenting risks and controls;
- Support the management of evidence requests with the responsible areas;
- Assist in evaluating controls and formalizing work papers;
- Assist in constantly reporting to the responsible analyst on the progress of activities and identified aspects;
- Support the evaluation and formalization of analyses related to operational loss events;
- Assist in preparing risk reports and opinions;
- Support the monitoring of action plans related to identified control deficiencies;
- Conduct research and studies on topics related to technological risks, cybersecurity, and market best practices.
What we are looking for
Required
- Experience in Operational Risk, Internal Controls, Internal or External Audit, or Consulting with a focus on technological risk and cybersecurity management — or recent graduates with academic experience in the area;
- Basic knowledge of technology environments and infrastructure (networks, cloud, information security);
- Completed or ongoing academic degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related technology fields;
- Analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Basic/intermediate knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; and
- Organization and ability to manage one's own time under supervision.
Preferred
- Introductory knowledge of risk and control frameworks (COBIT, COSO, ISO 27001);
- Introductory certifications related to IT governance, cybersecurity, or information security (e.g., ITIL Foundation, CC - ISC2, CompTIA Security+);
- Experience in audit or consulting firms, even through internships or trainee programs;
- Basic/intermediate English for reading technical documentation.
