In your day-to-day, you will
- Development and Maintenance
- Develop, evolve, and maintain robust, scalable, and well-documented APIs REST
- Build and sustain back-end services using Java with Spring Boot and/or Micronaut
- Implement and evolve the BFF layer (Backend for Frontend), ensuring efficient contracts with the front-end and mobile teams
Collaboration and Integration
- Work closely with iOS, Android, and Web teams, understanding consumption needs and adapting API responses
- Participate in agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, review, daily)
- Collaborate in defining API contracts and technical specifications with product and design teams
Quality and Testing
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers)
- Ensure test coverage and code quality following best practices (SOLID, Clean Code)
- Participate in code reviews, contributing to the team's continuous improvement
Infrastructure and Delivery
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous and secure deliveries
- Monitor service health in production (logs, alerts, observability metrics)
- Identify and fix performance bottlenecks in services
Architecture and Technical Evolution
- Contribute to software architecture decisions and platform evolution
- Propose technical improvements and actively participate in engineering discussions
- Document solutions, architectural decisions, and technical flows
What we are looking for
Mandatory
- Back-end: Java, Maven/Gradle, Spring Boot
- Testing: Experience with unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers)
- APIs and Integrations: Solid experience with development and consumption of APIs REST/GraphQL (BFF architecture experience is a plus)
- Frameworks and Libraries: Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, Kafka/RabbitMQ
- Others: Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Desirable
- Experience with Kotlin in the back-end
- Knowledge of Microservices and BFF (Backend s for Frontend s) architecture
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Familiarity with observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)
