Shape the network foundation of our Kubernetes platforms for Logicalis Connected customers.
Your mission: *
- You will be responsible for the networking of our Kubernetes environments for customers. *
- You will develop and operate our CNI stack (focus Cilium) for high-performance and latency-critical clusters. *
- You will work closely with Kubernetes, infrastructure, and network teams and ensure a stable, secure platform. *
- You will identify and resolve network issues early through observability & troubleshooting. *
- You will develop our network infrastructure to be scalable, matching the growth of the Logicalis environments. *
- You will collaborate with colleagues from data center, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Minimum requirements
What you bring: *
- Practical experience with Cilium CNI or comparable high-end CNIs (configuration, lifecycle, operation) *
- In-depth knowledge of eBPF datapath, policies, load balancing & Cilium architecture *
- Sound knowledge in cloud networking: VPC, subnets, routing, security groups/ACLs, NAT, ingress/egress *
- Experience in designing multi-tenant network architectures with high security requirements *
- Confident handling of TCP/IP, BGP, ECMP, MTU/fragmentation, overlay/underlay (VXLAN, Geneve, …) *
- Know-how in L3–L7 observability & complex troubleshooting *
- Experience with service mesh, multi-cluster networking, cluster mesh *
- Fluent English skills (C1), fluent German skills are an advantage
