Enterprise Technology - Systems Administrator

*** This is a full time, on-site position requiring the employee to work in person at our facility during regular business hours. ***

Job Purpose

The Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring, and support of the organization’s enterprise server, virtualization, storage, backup, recovery, and infrastructure platforms. This position ensures the availability, performance, security, and reliability of server and computing environments through proactive system administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, patch management, capacity planning, and lifecycle management activities. The Systems Administrator supports physical and virtual server environments, enterprise storage systems, backup and recovery platforms, and disaster recovery processes while collaborating with technology teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to maintain stable and efficient infrastructure services. The position serves as a technical resource for infrastructure operations, maintains technical documentation and system standards, and participates in infrastructure projects, change management activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Knowledge & Skills

Education/Experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

This position requires bending, typing, lifting (up to 40 lbs.), standing, sitting and walking throughout the facility.

Associates degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE), Microsoft Windows Server or Azure Infrastructure certifications, CompTIA Server+, or equivalent certifications preferred.
