WorkMotion
Neurawork GmbH & Co. KG
AI Engineer - Consulting & Implementation (m/f/d)
About the opportunity
From the first workshop to go-live: You'll put AI into production for small and medium-sized businesses.
With us, you won't write strategy papers for the drawer. You'll work directly with the people whose work your solution will change, and stay until it's running.
As an AI Engineer in customer deployment, you are the technical authority in our projects at medium-sized companies. You understand the on-site processes, design the architecture, adapt our standard products, and integrate them into the customer's system landscape until the solution is in productive use. Because you technically know what you're talking about, you advise at eye level, from the specialist department to management.
Responsibilities
What you'll do with us
- Understand on-site: Find out with the specialist department and IT where time is lost and which data is located where
- Evaluate: Check use cases for feasibility, data availability, costs, and limitations, and prioritize by impact
- Implement: Architecture, integration, and commissioning of AI solutions (LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, automation), in the cloud or on-premises
- With the customer's IT: Clarify interfaces, data connections, security, and operations together
- Advise: Support customers up to management with well-founded roadmaps that are technically sound
- Share: Feed insights back into our frameworks and products; conduct live sessions in our AI training and AI business coaching
Qualifications
Not a good fit for you if...
- You have a certification without a track record,
- You prefer developing strategies rather than getting your hands dirty with systems,
- You haven't yet built an AI system yourself that you can showcase.
Qualifications
What we're looking for
- Degree in a STEM field or a comparably deep technical background
- An AI system that you've built yourself and can showcase, e.g., a RAG pipeline, an agent, or a technically responsible automation
- Solid understanding of LLMs, retrieval, and agentic AI, cloud and on-premises operation, including their limitations
- Proficient in code (e.g., Python), APIs, and data connectivity
- 3+ years of professional experience in technical implementation; customer contact or consulting experience is a plus
- Enjoyment of workshops and explaining technology in an understandable way
- Native-level German and good English skills
- Residency in Germany and willingness to attend on-site customer appointments (typically 2–4 days per month in the DACH region)
What we offer
- Project responsibility from the first project, with no layers above you
- Technical exchange with the AI elite in Germany - in our team, you're always at the cutting edge
- Modern tech stack and room for experimentation
- Visibility as an expert through our AI Business Coaching community and TÜV SÜD cooperation
- Fully remote possible— team days and customer workshops on-site, typically 2-4 days/month in the DACH region
- Direct line to management, short decision-making processes
- Market-competitive salary with rapid growth opportunities
Application: Bring Your Project!
Send us your resume and bring your project!
Describe in 3–5 sentences the AI project you would like to show us in the second interview: What problem does it solve, how is it structured, which part did you implement yourself? A link to GitHub, demo video, or similar is welcome.
Professional, personal, or open source – everything counts as long as you implemented it yourself.
Confidential customer projects are welcome, anonymized or with sample data
We look forward to getting to know you and your project!
