About the opportunity
As a Cyber Security Quality Engineer (m/f/d), you will work on securing complex software systems in a technical development and testing environment.
You will be responsible for cyber security testing, test automation, and analysis in close collaboration with development and quality assurance. Your contribution will ensure that security requirements are verifiably tested and stably implemented.
YOUR TASKS
- Setup, configuration, and maintenance of cyber security hardware-in-the-loop systems in the software test lab as a Cyber Security Quality Engineer
- Adaptation, maintenance, and further development of cyber security test frameworks, as well as technical support for user groups
- Administration of virtual machines and adaptation and maintenance of the network infrastructure for test and automation environments
- Execution of behavioral analyses, documentation of anomalies, and creation of technical system and test setup descriptions
- Ensuring automated test execution, including monitoring, error analysis, and stabilization of the test environment
- Preliminary analysis, preparation, and provision of cyber security test results for development and other stakeholders
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
- More than two years of relevant professional experience in Cyber Security Testing with knowledge of automated security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite)
- Very good programming skills (Ansible, Python...), as well as experience with test automation, test methods, test design, and Secure Software Development Lifecycle
- Sound knowledge of secure coding, vulnerabilities, threat models, authentication, and authorization in software-based systems
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering is an advantage
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken; German and Spanish skills are desirable
- Experience with NixOS, automation environments, communication protocols, and bus systems is desirable
