Lead Operations Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Ensuring the routine operation of satellite platforms
- Participation in simulations and mission preparations - including launch preparations, LEOP, and IOD
- Processing and implementation of Operational Service Requests
- Processing and analysis of anomaly reports
- Support in the creation of reports and documentation
- Processing of User Help Desk requests
- Responsibility for shift planning
- Planning, control, and quality assurance of training measures
- Support of personnel planning
Your Qualifications
- Completed degree in a STEM field (Master's or higher)
- Experience in handling real-time systems and executing technical procedures in an operational environment
- Several years of professional experience in an operational environment in the aerospace industry
- Experience with common satellite control tools, e.g., SCOS, EGS-CC, CCS5 or comparable systems
- Extensive experience in leading teams and managing complex projects
- Ability to work precisely under time pressure
- Willingness to work shifts and undertake business travel
- Very good German and English skills (min. C1 level) in spoken and written
- Driver's license class B
- Knowledge in the areas of flight dynamics, space communication, high-frequency technologies, and/or ground segment systems is advantageous
