Omnicell
Omnicell is advancing the Autonomous Medication Management, and we are looking for a Director, AI Security, to establish and lead the security capabilities that enable responsible AI adoption across the enterprise. You will define the strategy, architecture, governance, and operational controls that secure Machine Learning, Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, copilots, and autonomous systems throughout their lifecycle — helping Omnicell move quickly while protecting sensitive data, customers, patients, and the business.
Position scope: This is not solely an AI governance or compliance role. The Director owns the security architecture and control environment governing AI systems as enterprise platforms and AI agents as autonomous identities that access data, invoke tools, and act on the organization’s behalf. The objective is to enable AI at scale — without unmanaged authority, uncontrolled data exposure, or unacceptable enterprise, regulatory, or patient-safety risk.
Since 1992, Omnicell has been committed to transforming pharmacy care through outcomes-centric innovation designed to optimize clinical and business outcomes across all settings of care. We strive to be the healthcare provider’s most trusted partner by our guiding promise of “Outcomes. Defined and Delivered.”
Our comprehensive portfolio of robotics, smart devices, intelligent software, and expert services is helping healthcare facilities worldwide to improve business and clinical outcomes as they move closer to the industry vision of the Autonomous Pharmacy.
Our guiding principles inform everything we do: *
We are deeply committed to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. Our ESG efforts focus on creating an inclusive culture and a healthier world. This includes our Employee Impact Groups, which foster inclusion and belonging, as well as our learning and well-being programs that support personal and professional growth. We also prioritize sustainability in our operations, aiming to reduce our environmental footprint and promote responsible business practices. Join us in transforming the pharmacy care delivery model, making patient care safer and smarter for all.
Success is measured by coverage (AI systems and agents inventoried, uniquely identified, and reviewed pre-production), red-team coverage, remediation and detection/containment times, and reduction of unauthorized AI use.
Success here is about how you achieve it, guided by our Elevate Behaviors and Leadership Imperatives: Collaborate across Security, Engineering, Data, Privacy, Legal, and Quality/Regulatory; Inspire secure and responsible AI adoption; Develop talent and organizational capability; Execute with disciplined follow-through; and make an Impact by enabling innovation while reducing enterprise, regulatory, and patient-safety risk — modeling a growth mindset, activating talent, and championing change as AI and its regulation evolve.
Flexibility in working hours for critical security decisions and incidents; frequent collaboration across time zones; approximately 15–20% travel.
Primarily computer-based work; reasonable accommodations provided consistent with applicable law.
