About the Opportunity
- Operate, monitor, and optimize the AHS system from the Control Room, managing routes, dynamic tracks, and exclusion zones.
- Track fleet performance, analyze telemetry data and system metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize haul cycle performance.
- Assist with software troubleshooting routines and network configurations, communicating directly with engineering.
- Prepare detailed technical reports on system performance, operational incidents, and data integrity.
- Support the development and performance teams in identifying bugs, proposing improvements, and workarounds.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive (procedures) and up-to-date technical documentation on AHS operation at the site.
- Strictly follow safety protocols (Stop Work Authority), contributing to the maintenance of a zero-risk safe work environment.
- Work on-site in a mine environment, with availability for shift work (schedule to be defined for 24/7 coverage).
What We're Looking For
Mandatory Requirements (Candidates must meet all these requirements to be considered for the selection process)
- Technical or Higher Education degree completed in fields related to Mining, Electrical, Automation, Computing, Electronics, or similar.
- Previous experience with at least one of the following domains: mine operation, mine planning, dispatch systems, autonomous haulage systems (AHS).
- Deep knowledge in the implementation of technology projects (Automation, IT, Instrumentation, etc.).
- Reside in or have availability to relocate to Curionópolis or Parauapebas (PA).
- Valid driver's license, category B.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ease with operating systems/terminals (Linux).
Desirable Differentiators (Not mandatory, but valued)
- Familiarity with industrial wireless network architectures (LTE, Starlink, RTK).
- Previous experience with embedded systems applied to mining.
- Advanced English for frequent communication with international teams (USA).
- Experience with maintenance of electro-electronic systems, instrumentation, or telemetry on heavy or industrial machinery;
