Consultant Data Analytics Global Transformation Tax (w/m/d)
About the opportunity
For our Tax Advisory division, we are looking for you as a Consultant Data Analytics Global Transformation Tax (w/m/d) starting as soon as possible.
What awaits you
- Team – As part of our Global Transformation Tax team, you will work together with colleagues from Tax, Tech, and Finance on innovative end-to-end solutions that make companies fit for external regulatory requirements and internal transformation.
- Analysis – You will develop clever, pragmatic solution approaches for structuring, processing, and validating financial data.
- Automation – Using tools like the Microsoft Power Platform or Alteryx, you will develop smart workflows and prototypes – e.g., for Pillar 2, Tax Control Frameworks, or other compliance challenges.
- Visualization – You will create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that generate valuable insights from financial data for the tax function and management.
- Integration – You will connect tools, data sources, and systems – whether via API, complex data models, or connectors.
What you bring with you
You have (soon) completed your Master's degree in Business Informatics or a comparable field of study.
You already have initial experience, e.g., through internships, university projects, or self-study, with data processing, data modeling, and data visualization, and possess solid knowledge in Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and ideally Python.
You love working with numbers, trying out tools, and finding creative solutions.
You bring curiosity, initiative, and genuine team spirit.
You master the German language at the C2 level and have very good written and spoken English skills.
Your Benefits
- Flexibility – In coordination with your team, you can expect a mix of in-office days and home office. There are no core working hours – you can flexibly arrange your working time within the scope of operational requirements and legal regulations. Additionally, you have the opportunity to work temporarily in over 40 countries.
- Professional Exams – Through our internal academy, international experience via secondments, and continuous mentoring, you will constantly develop. Additionally, we support you in obtaining professional qualifications: Certified Public Accountant, Full Certified Public Accountant, Tax Advisor, and Actuary.
- Leisure Time – You can accumulate overtime on your annual working time account (JAZ) and compensate for it with time off after intensive work phases. Remaining overtime will be paid out annually. Additionally, you have 30 vacation days available per calendar year.
- Health – Your health is important to us: In addition to our own company health insurance, we also offer preventive check-ups and sports activities. Participate in our free company sports program or benefit from discounted rates at various fitness studios or an Urban Sports Club membership.
That's not all – We want to create a positive work environment: An environment where flexible and creative work is possible, where work is recognized and performance is rewarded, and of which we are proud. You can find all benefits on our career page.
At PwC Germany, we work to solve critical challenges, create sustainable results, and build trust in the economy and society. As part of our Corporate Tax team, you will keep track of national and international tax issues for our clients: from bookkeeping and tax returns to restructurings and cross-border transactions. Your expertise and ideas are in demand for this. With a great team by your side, you will experience a refreshing mix of working with numbers and direct contact with our clients.
