What You Can Expect

You develop and operate data pipelines on our cloud-native Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) and work closely with analytics teams and business departments to provide data products for reporting, analytics, and operational processes.

You also integrate data from various sources (e.g., APIs, databases, streaming, files) into our platform and ensure their reliable processing and availability.

You design, implement, and operate scalable data pipelines (batch & streaming) based on Spark, Delta Lake, and Kubernetes – from ingestion to provision in the Gold Layer.

You continuously develop our Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) and work with a modern Lakehouse architecture (Delta Lake, Medallion model) in a multi-tenant environment on AWS.

You have successfully completed your studies in Computer Science (or Business Informatics) or a comparable degree – or bring corresponding practical experience in Data Engineering.

You have experience in data modeling and processing large amounts of data, as well as a good understanding of data quality, transformation, and data flows. *

Additionally, you are familiar with cloud technologies (ideally AWS) and modern data stack components such as Spark, Kubernetes, or workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow), and possess very good programming skills in Python and PySpark.

Terms and concepts like Kubernetes, Clean Code, Medallion Architecture, OOP, or Kafka are not foreign to you.

You work in a structured manner, take ownership of your tasks, and skillfully navigate a Git-based, collaborative development environment.
