Responsibilities - What awaits you
- You will take on an active business partner role at the interface of Finance, IT, and Business, confidently bringing our team's perspective into cross-departmental decisions.
- You will represent system, governance, and process perspectives in an audience-appropriate manner to business departments, management, and international stakeholders - including in demanding discussions at the senior level.
- You will manage, structure, and prioritize requirements from the business in the tension between global standards, technical feasibility, and local needs.
- You will help shape the strategic further development of group-wide financial systems - especially in the environment of SAP BW/SAC, HFM, and SAP FICO.
- You will be responsible for the functional support, further development, and quality assurance of solutions for management reporting, particularly in the areas of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and consolidation.
- You will analyze financial, process, and technical interrelationships, translate them into sound decision-making bases, and derive viable recommendations for action from them.
- You will actively contribute to strategic finance projects - for example, in the contexts of S/4HANA, harmonization of reporting and planning processes, digitalization, process automation, and data-driven optimizations.
- You will support the further development of data and system governance standards and contribute to ensuring data quality, transparency, and sustainability in the financial system landscape.
- You will work closely with IT, Controlling, external partners, and international business departments and companies.
- You will support users through coaching, professional exchange, and targeted support, ensuring that systems are not only implemented but also effectively utilized.
Minimum requirements
Qualifications - What we are looking for
- You have a completed university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a comparable field.
- You have several years of relevant professional experience in the area of financial systems, reporting, controlling-related processes, or finance transformation - ideally in a corporate environment or in a consulting-adjacent interface role.
- You have a very good understanding of data structures, interfaces, system logic, and financial relationships, and you grasp complex issues quickly and in a structured manner.
- You have very good knowledge of SAP BW/SAC; experience with HFM and SAP FICO is advantageous.
- You are familiar with management reporting, corporate planning, and consolidation processes from practice and can translate functional requirements into viable system and process solutions.
- You present yourself confidently, clearly, and persuasively, and are able to explain your positions comprehensibly, even to experienced stakeholders.
- You communicate in an audience-appropriate manner - from technical details to management decisions - and manage to present complexity in an understandable and decision-oriented way.
- You take responsibility, proactively drive topics forward, and keep track of direction, priorities, and the target picture even in demanding discussions.
- You possess strong analytical and conceptual skills, a willingness to change, and a high degree of initiative and solution orientation.
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
