About the opportunity
Your day-to-day at Skeelo will be like this:
- Develop and evolve ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and availability.
- Act directly on the Databricks platform, applying best practices in daily work and contributing to its governance and evolution.
- Act in the organization and cataloging of data, ensuring quality, standardization, and reliability of information.
- Build integrations between different data sources, ensuring quality, performance, and standardization.
- Develop solutions in AWS and use Databricks in the construction and evolution of our data platform.
- Monitor and evolve production pipelines, ensuring reliability and efficiency of processes.
- Work together with the Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to meet new data demands.
- Ensure that data is available with high quality and low latency for consumption by the company's areas.
- Contribute with improvements to the architecture, best practices, and continuous evolution of data engineering.
Minimum requirements
To do this, you will need to have:
- Solid experience as a Data Engineer, developing and supporting production data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, using the platform daily for development and operation of data solutions.
- Experience with AWS and ETL processes.
- Knowledge in data governance, cataloging, and quality.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, as well as tools like Kafka, Kibana, and Elasticsearch.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with different areas and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- English for reading and understanding technical documentation.
And it would be great if you also had:
- Databricks certification or other platform-related certifications.
- Experience in high-scale technology or fintech companies.
- Experience with Data Lakes and modern data architectures.
- Experience in environments with large data volumes.
- Ease in documenting solutions and sharing knowledge with the team.
