We are looking for a Database Platform Engineer for our Architecture, Platform Engineering & Infrastructure team, and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!

We are counting on you to…
- Design, implement, and operate database services as products (with SLOs, automation, and focus on user experience);•
- Build CI/CD pipelines for schema management, provisioning, and configuration control;•
- Ensure capacity planning, as well as backup and recovery strategies (RTO/RPO) and high availability and disaster recovery architectures;•
- Collaborate with development teams on the logical and physical design of databases (schemas, tables, indexes, and views);•
- Monitor and optimize performance through query analysis and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus);•
- Resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement continuous improvements;•
- Participate in an on-call rotation and ensure the reliability and availability of data platforms.
Minimum requirements
Therefore, bring with you…
- Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent;
- Experience (+3 years) in database engineering or similar roles (Platform/SRE);•
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB (on-prem and cloud);•
- Knowledge of HA/DR, backup, and recovery;•
- Good knowledge of Linux;•
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible;•
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments (GCP or Azure);•
- Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions);
- Treat operational problems as product problems — automating emerging issues;
- Communicate clearly with both developers and business stakeholders;
- Proactivity, autonomy, and ability to work in environments where ambiguity is part of the process;•
- Fluency in English;•
- Availability to work in a DevOps model, including on-call rotation;•
- Knowledge/experience with enterprise databases (Oracle or SQL Server);
- Skills in Artificial Intelligence.
