In this role, you will
- Perform monitoring and analysis of the operational health of physical and virtual Linux servers.
- Execute troubleshooting activities for incidents related to operating systems, services, and infrastructure.
- Support the administration and maintenance of Linux SUSE and Red Hat environments.
- Monitor resource utilization and server capacity.
- Identify, analyze, and document failures, root causes, and corrective actions.
- Create and update technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure inventories.
- Perform post-implementation validations and monitor changes in production environments.
- Support technical teams in investigating and resolving infrastructure problems.
- Register, track, and update technical tickets until their resolution.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the stability, availability, and efficiency of the environments.
Minimum requirements
Ideally, you will have
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Networks, or related fields.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems, preferably Red Hat and SUSE.
- Knowledge of virtualization concepts, especially VMware.
- Basic knowledge of physical and virtual server administration.
- Knowledge of Linux commands for analyzing logs, processes, network, and resource utilization.
- Experience or familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Analytical and investigative skills for incidents.
- Organizational skills for creating and updating technical documentation.
- Good communication, teamwork, and ease of continuous learning.

- Knowledge in Linux service management, such as systemd, network services, and storage.
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
- Experience with ITSM tools and ticket management.
- Basic automation knowledge using Shell Script.
- Basic or intermediate English for written communication and conversation.
