About the Role
A healthtech company is hiring its first dedicated Product Lead to own the product domain and connect customer insights with product decisions. You will set the roadmap, shape how product work gets done, and partner closely with clinical leadership, engineering, and design to build operational workflow tools for hospitals.
What You'll Do
- Learn hospital workflows and user needs, then translate insights from health system executives and frontline leaders into clear product requirements.
- Own the roadmap and prioritize customer requests based on commercial impact, market opportunity, and product strategy.
- Triage support tickets and partner requests, deciding what should move forward to engineering.
- Write product requirements and collaborate with engineering and design to deliver features efficiently.
- Own product tooling, define business metrics for roadmap initiatives, and establish a product analytics strategy.
- Improve the nurse manager experience, with a focus on user retention and buyer value.
- Build and demonstrate prototypes using Figma and AI-assisted development tools.
What We're Looking For
- Five to ten years of product management experience in healthtech, including shipping products in early-stage or ambiguous environments.
- Experience as a sole or founding product manager with ownership across a product's full surface area.
- Background building operational workflow products for health system buyers, such as nursing, technology, and operations leaders.
- Strong commercial judgment and a track record of connecting product decisions to business outcomes.
- Technical fluency with data models, backend tradeoffs, and platform architecture, along with basic SQL skills.
- Experience with product analytics instrumentation and tools such as Figma, Cursor, Replit, or v0.
- Confidence leading product conversations with health system executives and working as an individual contributor.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary is $200,000 to $225,000 annually.
Location
Hybrid in New York, New York, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday.
