Required Qualifications
Education: Completed technical course in automation, electrical, electro-electronics, mechatronics, or instrumentation with active CFT.
- Completed technical course in automation, electrical, electro-electronics, mechatronics, or instrumentation with active CFT;
- Experience with mine equipment maintenance;
- Intermediate Office Suite skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automation for mine equipment;
- Experience in telecommunications activities;
- Knowledge of PLC;
- Knowledge of performance indicators and maintenance processes;
- Knowledge of Power: Low Voltage Installations; Power Systems, UPS, Generators, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Rectifiers, Inverters, and battery banks; Grounding and Lightning Protection Systems; NR-10;
- Knowledge of computerized Maintenance Management Systems
- Basic English;
- Driver's License Class B.
Responsibilities and Job Activities
- Perform preventive, corrective maintenance, and develop improvements on mine equipment's embedded systems, such as Dispatch, Fleet, Terrain, Command, Proximity Alert, Tire Monitoring - MEMS;
- Contribute to ensuring the operational availability of automation systems by providing support and technical assistance to the user departments of these systems;
- Control and supervise services from specialized companies when contracted for the development and implementation of automation systems;
- Participate in the implementation, commissioning, start-up, and pre-operation of automation systems;
- Contribute to ensuring the efficiency and safety of automation systems by conducting technical audits on these systems.
- Perform maintenance and calibration on instruments, sensors, automation devices, and control interfaces for industrial facilities and equipment;
- Perform hardware and software maintenance on operational control systems (PLC’s, SCADA, HMIs);
- Perform performance maintenance on automation communication data networks, as well as their physical peripherals;
- Contribute to ensuring the operational availability of implemented electro-electronics, automation, and process control systems by providing technical support to the user departments of these systems, coordinating and verifying the execution of maintenance activities at the software and hardware level, and conducting periodic audits on the systems.
