Required Qualifications
Education: Completed technical course in Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields.
- Technical Course in Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields, with an active CFT (Conselho Federal dos Técnicos Industriais).
- Experience in industrial inspection and maintenance.
- Knowledge of PLCs (Schneider, Siemens, Rockwell, or similar).
- Knowledge of industrial networks (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, P&IDs, and control logic.
- Knowledge of process instruments and supervisory systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in mining or pelletizing plants.
- Knowledge of failure analysis (RCA - Root Cause Analysis).
- Experience with predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.
- Updated NR-10, NR-35, and NR-33 (Brazilian regulatory standards).
- Microsoft Office Suite and SAP PM.
Responsibilities and Job Activities
- Perform routine inspections of process instruments, PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, variable frequency drives, MCCs, and supervisory systems.
- Identify anomalies and issue technical diagnoses for failure prevention.
- Perform failure analyses and support root cause determination.
- Prepare technical inspection reports and maintenance recommendations.
- Monitor functional tests, equipment startups, and maintenance interventions.
- Ensure the technical quality of interventions performed by maintenance teams.
- Support the planning of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Inspect critical pelletizing equipment, such as conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, mills, furnaces, electrostatic precipitators, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as pressure, flow, temperature, level, and analysis instruments.
- Support continuous improvement, reliability, and loss reduction projects.
- Strictly comply with Safety, Health, Environment, and Asset Management procedures.
