Required Qualifications
Education: High school diploma.
- Experience in maintenance, configuration, and development of industrial automation systems.
- Experience in industrial environments such as mining, processing, plants, or continuous processes;
- Experience in integrating industrial and corporate systems;
- Experience in industrial networks, telecommunications, and OT/IT infrastructure;
- Experience in specialized technical support for automation, telecommunications, and industrial systems;
- Experience in managing maintenance orders via SAP PM;
- Experience in critical production and automation systems;
Technical Knowledge
Industrial Automation and Process Control
- Programming, configuration, and maintenance of ABB, Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider PLCs or similar;
- Development and maintenance of supervisory systems, HMIs, SCADA and DCS;
- Development and analysis of control logic;
- Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control loops;
- Parameterization and maintenance of automated systems;
- Commissioning of equipment and systems;
- Analysis and optimization of industrial processes;
- Knowledge of data historian systems (PI System);
- Industrial Networks: Profibus DP/PA, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, ControlNet;
- Industrial Telecommunications: Rajant, Radwin, AVI-LTE, Hirschmann, Cisco, Siemens Ruggedco;
- OT/IT Infrastructure: Vmware, Hyper-V, equivalent platforms;
- Database and Programming: Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Python programming, PowerShell;
- CCTV and Industrial Monitoring: Pelco, Motorola, Axys;
- Corporate and Management Systems: PM;
- Intermediate/technical English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree in Industrial Automation, Electrotechnics, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related fields, or a Bachelor's degree in Control and Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields;
- Experience in Truckless mining operations;
- Experience in Substation Automation Systems (SAS);
- Experience in process CCTV;
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation;
- Knowledge of virtualization and industrial server infrastructure;
- Knowledge of Industrial Cyber Security (IEC 62443);
- Participation in advanced automation, digitalization, and technological innovation projects;
- Previous experience in IT support and industrial infrastructure.
Responsibilities and Job Activities
- Develop, implement, parameterize, and maintain industrial automation and process control systems;
- Program, configure, and perform maintenance on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), SCADA supervisory systems, and DCS;
- Develop and analyze control logic in ABB, Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider PLCs or equivalent platforms;
- Perform fault diagnostics, functional tests, commissioning, and technical validation of automated systems;
- Analyze the performance of machines, equipment, and processes, proposing improvements in productivity, reliability, and quality;
- Integrate industrial systems involving machines, sensors, instrumentation, industrial networks, and corporate systems;
- Participate in implementation, expansion, modernization, and optimization projects for automation and control systems;
- Execute technical interventions in industrial automation electrical panels, observing applicable safety procedures;
- Perform assembly, replacement, parameterization, and adjustment of electrical, electronic, and automation components;
- Develop and maintain supervision screens and SCADA/DCS systems;
- Work on the implementation of digital solutions and advanced automation;
- Prepare and review technical documentation, procedures, standards, reports, and automation diagrams;
- Provide technical support to maintenance, operation, and engineering teams, as well as specialized suppliers;
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, legal requirements, corporate standards, and Health, Safety, and Environment procedures;
- Provide technical service and support to internal and contracted teams;
- Manage and track maintenance demands using SAP PM.
