Where you can get involved

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you embed security exactly where it belongs: right in the middle of our development and delivery processes. For you, Security by Design instead of a retroactive fix is not a buzzword, but a lived reality.

You integrate automated security checks into our build and deployment processes and ensure that vulnerabilities become visible early on – before they cause headaches in live operation.

You design our secrets management and identity and access management, bring order to permissions, and create clear, traceable concepts that everyone can rely on.

You take care of protection mechanisms at the network and application level and harden our container infrastructure so that it remains stable even in headwinds.

Together with development and operations, you implement the high compliance and data protection requirements of the healthcare sector with technical precision – because data sovereignty is not a side issue for us, but part of our foundation.

What you should bring

You have a completed technical degree, a corresponding vocational training, or solid practical experience in the IT environment and bring at least 3 years of professional experience in IT Security, DevOps, or software development.

You are proficient in DevSecOps topics and are familiar with pipeline and container security, secrets management with Vault, identity and access management with Keycloak/OIDC, and web application firewalls.

You have scripting skills, for example in Python or Bash, and a good understanding of cloud security in Google Cloud and/or AWS.

When it comes to security issues, you think in terms of automated solutions rather than manual workarounds and enjoy making recurring checks smarter and more robust.

To get a firm footing with us, you master German at least at the C1 level.

Ideally, you have already worked with regulatory requirements in the healthcare or data protection environment and know that security there is not a bonus, but a basic requirement.

Your initial experience with agent-based software development (e.g., CLI-based AI programming via Claude Code / Codex) or in the area of Vibecoding can be practically applied with us.
