V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Construction Engineer in our Woodridge, IL office, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world.
You'll change the shape of your community by moving earth to pave the way for progress, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Construction Engineering team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.
Here's what you'll do
- 01Document progress, conduct inspections, and collaborate with Resident Engineers to maintain project integrity.
- 02Oversee and manage municipal construction projects from inception to completion.
- 03Develop and review project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- 04Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- 05Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
- 06Prepare and present project reports and documentation.
- 07Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
We're looking for
- 08A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
- 09Ideally, 2 to 10 years of related experience.
- 10EIT or PE is a plus
- 11Proven track record of successfully managing municipal construction projects.
- 12Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- 13Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- 14Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
