Business Intelligence Developer (Data Visualization)
We are looking for a Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Data Visualization, capable of transforming business needs into scalable, intuitive, and visually impactful Business Intelligence solutions.
You will be responsible for developing high-quality dashboards and reports, acting in incident resolution and continuous improvements, as well as ensuring that information is presented clearly and strategically to support decision- making.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
REPORT DEVELOPMENT AND EVOLUTION
- Develop, update, and optimize dashboards in Power BI, ensuring an excellent user experience, performance, and visual clarity.
- Investigate and resolve tickets related to DAX, data modeling, permissions, performance, data refresh, and visualization issues.
- Implement continuous improvements based on user feedback, usage metrics, and market best practices.
- Ensure dashboards meet business needs efficiently and scalably.
SUPPORT AND PROBLEM RESOLUTION
- Act proactively in the daily support of BI environments.
- Perform root cause analyses to correct inconsistencies involving business logic, relationships, data refresh, and integrations.
- Support users and stakeholders in understanding KPIs, navigation, and dashboard functionalities.
- Identify optimization opportunities and prevention of recurring problems.
EXCELLENCE IN DATA VISUALIZATION
- Apply UX and Data Visualization principles to create intuitive, modern, and easily interpretable dashboards.
- Utilize advanced Power BI features, such as custom tooltips, field parameters, user experience-driven navigation, and dynamic formatting.
- Propose improvements and redesigns that make data analysis clearer, more efficient, and impactful.
- Ensure visual consistency and standardization across reports and business areas.
DATA MODELING AND BUSINESS LOGIC
- Develop and enhance DAX measures for complex calculations, Time Intelligence, dynamic indicators, and conditional formatting.
- Build efficient data models using best practices, such as Star Schema, calendar tables, and optimized relationships.
- Ensure consistency in the definition and application of KPIs across different reports and organizational areas.
DATA GOVERNANCE AND QUALITY
- Monitor dashboard usage and promote actions to increase adoption, engagement, and user understanding.
- Validate the quality, integrity, and consistency of information before publications.
- Document business rules, metrics, functionalities, and processes whenever necessary.
- Contribute to the governance and standardization of analytical solutions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
HARD SKILLS
- Solid experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Advanced knowledge in DAX, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Experience in maintaining and supporting corporate dashboards.
- Ability to diagnose and solve technical and functional problems in BI environments.
- Strong knowledge of Data Visualization principles, UX for Analytics, and executive dashboard creation.
- Knowledge of data governance and quality best practices.
SOFT SKILLS
