About the opportunity
We are looking for a Senior SAP Basis Consultant with solid experience in SAP Basis Infrastructure, SAP Basis Security, SAP GRC Access Control (GRC-AC), AMS support, and SAP environment management.
The professional will work on the administration, support, security, governance, and management of SAP environments, with essential experience in AMS operations, incident management, change management, and ensuring system stability and availability.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Basis – Infrastructure and Environment Management
- Administration and support of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and NetWeaver environments.
- Management of SAP DEV, QAS, and PRD environments, ensuring stability, availability, performance, and security.
- Administration of transports, RFCs, interfaces, and SAP integrations.
- Monitoring of jobs, dumps, logs, performance, and environment resources.
- Application of SAP Notes, Support Packages, patches, and Kernel updates.
- Administration of SAP RISE, Cloud, and On-Premise environments.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP, Cloud Connector, SSL, and digital certificates.
- Planning and execution of maintenance activities and technical environment improvements.
SAP Basis Security
- Administration of SAP users, profiles, roles, and authorizations.
- Creation, maintenance, and review of roles using PFCG.
- Authorization analysis using SU53, SUIM, and STAUTHTRACE.
- Access management, segregation of duties (SoD), and security policies.
- Administration of SSO and authentication.
- Support for internal and external audits.
SAP GRC Access Control (GRC-AC)
- Administration, configuration, and support of SAP GRC-AC.
- Knowledge of ARA, ARM, EAM (Firefighter), and BRM modules.
- Configuration and maintenance of MSMP workflows and BRF+ rules.
- Administration of Rule Sets and SoD risk analysis.
- Management of emergency access and risk mitigation.
- Integration of GRC-AC with SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
- Support for security and compliance audits.
AMS – SAP Support and Operational Management
- Proven experience in AMS (Application Management Services) operations and SAP environment support.
- Handling and resolution of incidents, service requests, problems, and changes.
- Technical support at N2/N3 levels, including root cause analysis and resolution of critical issues.
- Management and tracking of tickets, priorities, and SLAs.
- Participation in change management, transport, and production release processes.
- Performing preventive and proactive analyses to ensure environment stability.
- Interface with functional teams, ABAP, infrastructure, security, and SAP vendors.
- Management of SAP environments, including maintenance planning, monitoring, and tracking of technical activities.
Requirements
- Solid experience in SAP Basis Infrastructure, Basis Security, and SAP GRC-AC.
- Proven experience in SAP AMS and SAP environment management.
- Experience in supporting production environments and handling critical incidents.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP RISE.
- Experience with change management, transports, and environment administration.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, SLAs, and ticketing tools.
- Ability to work independently in analyzing and resolving incidents.
- Good communication, organizational skills, and ability to build relationships with multidisciplinary teams.
- Full-time availability during business hours, Monday through Friday.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP BTP, IAS/IPS, and Fiori Security.
- Experience in SAP migration, upgrade, and transformation projects.
- Knowledge of SOX audits, LGPD, and compliance.
- Experience in high-criticality SAP environments and AMS operations with multiple clients.
