Product Lead (Product Leader) - LATAM
About the opportunity
Clara is the leading platform in Latin America for companies to execute and manage every payment operation. More than 50,000 leading and fast-growing businesses run on our corporate cards, bill pay, financing and B2B payments, and in 2025 the Financial Times named Clara the region’s fastest-growing company. We’re passionate about helping every company we work with become more effective—and, through that, raising the region’s competitiveness. We’re ~400 people, backed by Notable Capital, Coatue, Kaszek, monashees, DST Global, ICONIQ, General Catalyst and Goldman Sachs, among others.
Who We Are
We build in small, autonomous squads. We prioritize action over process. We treat AI as a core part of our workflow, not as a novelty. We care more about what you have delivered than where you studied. If you are the type of person who prototypes before presenting, launches before asking for permission, and earns trust by being close to the work, you will fit in here.
What is a Product Lead?
A Product Lead is responsible for the product direction of a small, autonomous squad. You decide what to build, why it matters, and whether it worked. You are responsible for business outcomes, not just delivered features.
What differentiates this role from a traditional Product Manager?
You do not write specifications and pass them along. You prototype ideas with AI tools before committing engineering time. You contribute code for simple changes (text, configurations, feature flags, basic UI updates) to unblock yourself and move faster. You work with Git daily, read PRs, and understand what was delivered without needing status meetings.
The core work is still product judgment, discovery, and alignment with stakeholders. However, the technical level required is higher than in a traditional PM role. You need to hold your own in architectural conversations, earn the trust of engineering by being close to the work, and use AI tools as part of your daily workflow.
This is not a PM who codes full-time. Nor is it an engineering lead with added product responsibilities. It is what we believe to be the best product profile in the AI era: someone who can own outcomes and move quickly without waiting for handoffs.

- Strong discovery skills: you know how to identify the right problem before solving it
- Data literacy: comfortable with SQL, dashboards, and experiment design
- Clear written communicator: you can write a one-pager that generates alignment without needing a meeting
- Stakeholder management across engineering, design, sales, and leadership

HOW WE WORK
Where we work
This is a hybrid role: you'll split your time between the office, customers and home. We don't set a minimum number of office days for most roles — you'll spend time in the office naturally, and most days during your ramp-up or when your leader asks.
HOW WE WORK
- Clarity — Open and direct communication: we say what we mean and give context where it matters.
- Simplicity — If it can be simpler, it should be.
- Ownership — We own everything we do, end to end. When something needs to happen, we don't wait.
- Pride — We hold ourselves to a high standard, and it shows in what we deliver.
- ABC (Always Be Changing) — We adapt fast, embrace change, and keep learning.
- Inclusivity — Diverse ideas, stories and perspectives build a better Clara.
If you meet the must-haves, apply — the nice-to-haves are a bonus, not a requirement.
WHY CLARA
- A high talent-density team driven to make an impact in Latin America — low ego, high ownership.
- Competitive salary and stock options (ESOP) from day one.
- An annual learning budget and accelerated development paths.
- English is our working language, with Spanish and Portuguese every day.
